Internazionale will travel to Ukraine to face current group B leaders Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions league on Tuesday night. The tie between the Italian and Ukrainian giants will be the second round of UCL fixtures in the group.

Shakhtar seem ready for the clash sitting top of the group after a shocking win over Real Madrid last week. The UCL tie against Madrid in matchday 1 saw them put three goals behind the Los Blancos defense in the first half. Donetsk manages to bag the win, despite conceding two-goals in the second-half to win 2-3 away from home.

However, heading into this UCL fixture, Donetsk were dealt a blow over the weekend with a draw against Vorskla Portava. Despite conceding an early goal in the 7th minute, Shakhtar manages to draw level and earn a point at home.

Inter Milan on the other hand, remain favorites to seal a win in this UCL tie. With a lot of pressure mounting on them in the group, they scraped only a point at home vs Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend. A heated second-half that saw four goals scored by both teams to earn a 2-2 at the Stadio Guiseppe Meazza.

Although, Inter Milan came of short in the Champions league in midweek, it didn’t stop them from bagging a 0-2 win away from home at Genoa on Saturday in the SERIE A. A much deserved win, if I must add, with goals from Belgian Ace striker Lukaku and D’Ambrosio.

It will definitely be a tough and exciting match-up in Ukraine as these giants clash in the UCL. However, the odds currently favour the Italian giants to bag a win away from home as they’ve not recorded a loss against Shakhtar.
