Premier league conclusion threatened by COVID-19 and Integrity of players
Premier League club bosses are unsure if the PL season will resume in April which further increase the feeling of doubt about the conclusion of the current PL season.
Executives and top ranked hierarchy are worried that continuing the season will risk the safety of other uninfected players, managers, staffs and even fans.
This argument cannot be overlooked because seven clubs have already had already one confirmed case among players, manager or staff.
Also there’s the need to protect the integrity of the competition:
There’s no guarantee that all the teams will be back in action at the same time and with 69 players set to run out their contracts by June the league organizers will have a lot of work to do squashing rumors and issues regarding integrity.
More talks are due to hold after Uefa’s meeting next week, hopefully a cynical resolution will be reached.
