Premier League clubs agree to complete 2019/2020 season

The meeting was held and various templates and solutions were considered.
Although some Premier League clubs expressed concerns about finishing the season after June because of some players whose contracts will expire on the 30th of June, those concerns were knocked off by the argument that the financial implications of not playing the remaining matches could be disastrous for most teams.
All clubs agree during conference call earlier today that games will have to be played behind closed doors if the remaining Premier League games will be completed but no date was agreed.
Premier club executives and managers hope they will have a few weeks to improve the fitness of their players before they swing into full action.
