Florentino Perez make first move for Halaand
Real Madrid’s president, Fiorentino Perez has contacted Borussia Dortmund manager Hans-Joachim Watzke after Dortmund marked the restart of the Bundesliga with a 4nil demolition Schalke 04. However, many think its Real Madrid’s first move for Erling Halaand.

Landmark for Erling Halaand
Halaand continued from where he left off before the season was suspended, the youngster opened the scoring in the Revierderby with his 13th goal for Dortmund in as many games.
The Norwegian is hitting numbers that even football greats like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi couldn’t reach when they were his age.
Halaand, who is only 19 years old, has 41 goals in all competitions this season, Cristiano Ronaldo was 23 years when he first scored 40+ goals in one season, Lionel Messi was 22 years when he hit 41 goals for Barcelona in the 2009/10 season.
Most elite forwards only hit 40+ goals at the peak of their careers. Luiz Suarez was able to do it at 23, Robert Lewandoski and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang did it at 27, Edison Cavani achieved it at 29 – Harry Kane and Mohammed Salah did it at 24 and 25 respectively meanwhile players like Neymar, Benzema, Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann and Sadio Mane are yet to reach the 40-goal mark in one season.
Real Madrid and Others Lurking
A move away from Dortmund is inevitable if Halaand carry on with his current form, the 19-year old is the most in-demand striker in Europe right now.
He is a clinical goal poacher who loves to play on the shoulders of opposition defenders but make no mistake; he is just as efficient at creating chances for his teammates.
Knowing Fiorentino Perez for who he is, the text message to Watzke could be the first of many others between Real Madrid and Dortmund in the coming months.
