Fantasy Premier League Update – Game week six
Another round of Premier League matches starts this night, for Fantasy Premier League managers, it’s about making salient decisions that will determine the outcome of their game-week and the season as a whole.
Our job is to help Fpl managers make better decisions in order to rack up those vital points that will push their team up the table.
Let’s get to it:
Goalkeeper – Game week six looks like a week where we’ll see lots of goals but Everton have a very good chance of keeping a clean sheet.
Jordan Pickford (Everton Goalkeeper) will be looking to keep his third clean sheet of the season – the Tofees (Everton) have conceded the second least number of shots (behind Manchester City) this season (42), only 18 of those shots were on target.
Everton have won their last five games at Goodison Park – keeping four clean sheets in the process (including games against Arsenal and Manchester United), a visit from Sheffield United shouldn’t spoil the party.
Other picks you should consider:
Ederson (Manchester City)
Defenders – Luka Digne, Zincheko, Maitland-Niles
Luka Digne: The left back’s creativity is one of the best in the league, he’s attempted 12 assists so far this season (second highest in the league) and should make up for the disappointment of game week 5 loss to Bournemouth.
Zincheko: Got a good goal during the international break against Nigeria and could be instrumental as Pep Guardiola struggle to deal with injuries to John Stones and Laporte.
Maitland-Niles: Very energetic on the right flank, got an assist last week and could get a couple more this week if he can find the right pass in the final-third.
Other picks to consider: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Kyle Walker and Robertson.
Midfielders – Son, Kevin Debruyne, Cantwell and Salah.
Son: Didn’t play any part in Tottenham’s UCL trip to Olympiakos which increases his chance of starting against Leicester City tomorrow, he’s owned by a mere 5.5% – managers who seek a worthy differential must consider Son.
Debruyne: The creator-in-chief himself, capable of unlocking the tightest defence with his eyes closed. He should continue his fine form this weekend if he manages to escape Pep’s rotation policy.
Cantwell: With four goals involvement this season, Cantwell is one of the best budget players in the league and should come good again this game week.
Salah: Doubting Mohammed Salah is a criminal offence in Fantasy Premier League world, the Egyptian is one of the most consistent players in the league and should be amongst the goals against Chelsea.
Other picks you should consider: Sterling, Iwobi, Ceballos
Forwards – Aguero, Kane, Pukki
Aguero – Has scored in every Premier League game he’s played this season, he also has 10 goals in seven appearances against Watford, he should add to that tally this weekend.
Kane – Has scored more goals against Leicester City (13) than any other side he’s played against, not to forget that he’s Spur’s first choice penalty taker. If a chance falls to him in and around the box, he’ll definitely convert 7/10 times.
Pukki – What more can we say about Teemu Pukki? He’s been a key asset for Fpl managers so far this season, got a goal and assist last week, we expect him to be involved in atleast a goal this week.
Other picks you should consider: Aubameyang, Jarmie Vardy, Marcus Rashford and Firminho
Captain Picks –
First choice: Aguero
Second choice: Salah
Third Choice: Sterling
