Borrussia Dortmund pull off comeback to stun Inter Milan
Borussia Dortmund came from two-goals behind to grab all three points at home against Inter Milan. Lautaro Martinez and Matias Vecino early strikes had given Inter Milan the lead.
The visitors[Inter Milan] went ahead in the fifth minute when Martinez converted from close range. Vecino doubled the lead from close range after a sweet team play a few minutes later.
Dortmund’s fightback started with young right back Hakimi, the Moroccan who’s on loan from Real Madrid scored before and after Julian Brandt’s goal to give the Germans all three points as they moved ahead of Inter Milan to stay second on the table behind Barcelona who failed to win against Sparta Prague.
His first came in six minutes into the second half before Brandt equalised in the 64th minute. Hakimi then completed his brace thirteen minutes before time as Dortmund defeated Inter Milan 3-2.
Liverpool go top of Group F with home win against Genk
Liverpool beat Genk 2-1 to go top of Group E despite resting some key players.
Georginio Wijnaldum handed Jurgen Kloop’s men the lead when he converted James Milner’s low cross.
Genk restored parity through Mbwana Samatta’s at the near post in the 35th minute.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s third goal against the Belgian side in two hames sealed the points for the reds. The Englishman scored early in the second half to give Liverpool maximum points.
